||Monterey Park City Hall
||Monterey Park Public Works Department
||City Hall is centrally located; part of a busy civic center that includes the Police Department, Fire Station, Public Library and Barnes Park, and that is adjacent to residences. It’s a highly visible location and an excellent venue for teaching and informing about water conservation. Thousands of people visit City Hall each year to attend meetings, meet with City departments, conduct City business, attend events and more. The water conservation project featured new drought-tolerant landscaping in planters in front of City Hall, a new irrigation system serving those planters and a high-tech smart irrigation controller.
